Most band shirts live under the uniform. Show shirts go on before the bibbers, stay on through the whole competition day, and come back out the second the jacket comes off at the buses. Humid August rehearsal blocks, a cold October press box, four hours on vinyl seats in between, all on one garment.

Sections don't need separate artwork to feel like themselves. Run one design, in one color, and let each section pick the blank that fits what it does. Drumline takes the long sleeve, because harness straps ride on bare shoulders all afternoon. Guard takes the hoodie: they stand still on a cold field between run-throughs while everyone else is moving. Brass and woodwinds take the tee. Ordering around the band calendar
Bands buy in waves: camp shirts in July, show shirts once the theme is announced, hoodies before the first cold competition, banquet shirts in spring. With no minimum, each wave is its own order instead of one anxious guess in August, and you can buy one shirt first to see the color on the real garment before a section commits.
Everything is printed to order by US partners, about 2-5 business days plus tracked shipping, so count backward from the first competition, not the first rehearsal. If your boosters still collect sizes on paper, the group-order guide covers it. Wrong or defective prints get reprinted or refunded with a photo within 14 days.
