Most clubs go the standard club shirt route: a name, a year, a logo somebody else drew. Art club doesn't have to. Your members are the designers, so the shirt stops being merch and becomes student work that walks around the building all year.
Run the front like a juried show
Members submit a piece, the club votes, and this year's winner goes on the shirt. Upload a scan of a linocut pull, a phone photo of an ink drawing, or a file straight off a tablet — or describe the idea in plain English and refine it by chatting until the line weight and crop match the original. Designing is free; you pay at checkout. Front print only during our beta, which suits artwork fine: one image, centered, the way a piece would hang. Set the artist's name small underneath and the credit travels with the shirt.

You don't have to pick a winner at all. There's no minimum, so each member can put their own drawing on their own shirt and the club still checks out together — mixed sizes and garments in one order, every size the same price per piece. Twelve members, twelve different fronts, one delivery. It's the cheapest edition any of them will ever print.
What the fabric does to a drawing
Studio shirts get used hard — charcoal at the cuffs, glaze on the hem, screen ink from whoever leaned into the drying rack — so choose the color for the artwork, not for the day. A fine pencil line holds its detail best on White or Sport Gray; heavy ink and bold shapes carry on Black, Navy, or Forest. Our color guide shows both. Dressing for the show
At the spring exhibition, matching shirts turn members into hosts standing beside their own work — and families spot them fast. The Adult Polo at $32.99 reads sharper for an opening; Adult Hoodies at $44.99 and Youth at $39.99 earn their keep on hanging night and takedown, when the heat is off and somebody's on a ladder.
Before you order
Nothing is warehoused — US print-on-demand partners print each shirt when you order it, about 2-5 business days plus shipping, with tracking. Count back from your show date and the shirts land before the wall crew starts hanging. If a print arrives wrong or defective, send a photo within 14 days and we'll reprint or refund it. Custom prints aren't returnable for a size ordered in error, so confirm sizes before you submit.
